Why not try putting linlocks with thread and see how you like it and the reception you get before locking your own hair. I am black Jamaican and I put in linlocks several years before locking my own hair in 2000. I am not
Rastafarian as some people think as I tell them am just a conscious black mama./
I love dreads. I am not brave enough to get them. I created a pinterest board a while back called “Dreads Ras Jatayein ” Many women wear them so well, was infatuated with the look. I hope some day… I will wear them.
The Urban Plush Project is a blog that celebrates creative expression and personal growth...an inspirational piece dedicated to encouraging us all to grow into what we're meant to be, to push ourselves beyond our comfort zones, to redefine what's intelligent, what's beautiful, what's strong and what's passionate on no one else's terms other than our own.
