Inspirational Sound…A Few Favorites
Music is an inspirational necessity for many artists, writers and poets. But its influence is not limited to them alone. Music is a universal language because it communicates viscerally. The origin of the term music comes from the Greek word mousa, meaning muse. A muse is often thought of as an inspirational source or guiding spirit. The term also means to dwell in a state of meditation. What types of music inspire you? Here are a few of my personal favorites:
Looks like a lot of “world music” which I also like but must admit I don’t know many bands. These days I am listening to Gorillaz (love them too) and Pink Martini and I also love Johnny Cash, even though I don’t like country music! Just love his rawness. Thanks for the suggestions!
